Sit back and enjoy more of Betty's memories!

He made it through the rain and the first half and went back stage to rest and "talk about " us! During intermission the glow sticks were handed out. When the second half started the audience was a green glowing life force! It was a sight to see from any area of the arena. As they were all up on the stage I watch Keely, Kye and the others. They seemed truly amazed at the audience and the glow sticks. It was almost as if they just couldn't believe what they were seeing. Kye kept looking out, laughing and just shaking his head in disbelief! I kept looking around because even I couldn't believe what I was seeing. In all the shows I've been to, I don't think I've ever seen so many glow sticks. I really believe that EVERYONE in the arena had one. And during the key songs they all swayed in perfect time, as if we had all been practicing for weeks! It was really cool.

I have to admit I really wondered how he would handle Copa. After seeing the platform, I knew it would be used. We also knew that there were new costumes. But I don't think any of us expected what we saw. First Kye came out in every color of the rainbow. I tried my damndest to get a picture of him. But he moved faster than Barry....he was just one colorful blur. Then stage center....Barry came out in a yellow bolero jacket with a black and white, sequined, checkerboard lapel....really hot. I always used to like seeing him in those bolero jackets. He sure has the frame for them. and the girls....they had the feather headdresses in bold vibrant colors. It was all a feast for the eyes. Barry came out and stepped onto the platform and hung on as the platform then shot up and out above the center aisle. It wasn't up as high as the catwalk in Vegas, but it was up there several feet above the heads of those in the audience. He did manage to shake it a bit and threw the crowd into a frenzy. Then just when you thought he was done the platform then lowered several feet so that his knees were then about even with the tops of heads. Wow...talk about frenzy! It was wild! Finally the platform lifted up again and slowly went back to the stage where he finished the song. It truly seemed like it was over in seconds. I would have loved for that to go on for a few more minutes. But alas, it was close to the end.

Finally Barry came out for the last song....it's a Miracle of course. The streamers shot off and the crowd went wild.
