Barry came on in a
wheelchair with Emmy in hand pushed by Kye in a doctor's coat and the
girls in nurses uniform singing "It's a Miracle". After this he did
"Bandstand Boogie" and "NY City Rhythm". He sang the up-tempo version of
"I Made It Through The Rain", which I love.
He then went into the big band era and the 40's; he sang "Moonlight Serenade" and walked to a platform at the front to the stage which lowered him to the floor where he picked a lady called Terri English to dance with him. He took her in the platform which then rose to the stage where he danced with her. He thanked her for the dance and she was escorted off the stage at the side. The 50's was the same as Vegas. He closed the first half with "Looks Like We Made It" because he had even though he grimaced a few times. There was the rubbing (!) of the thigh which he seemed really into.

Second half opened with "Can't Smile" and the jump on the piano. I have no idea why he did this as it must have hurt. He then did the full version of "Could It Be Magic" as he had an orchestra and it sounded fabulous. Next was the 60's. He came out in a psychedelic pink Beatles style coat. He sat on a chair with a lava lamp beside him with Indian/hippy music playing and pretended to smoke a funny cigarette he said, "They say if you remember the 60's then you weren't there but he remembered them". He then remembered the music and showed album covers of the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and the Brady Bunch plus one of his in which he said was he a desperate housewife. He said if you thought of the 60's music you immediately thought of the Beatles and he then sang "Yesterday". Talked about hot flush and meant flash back. He then sang "Everybody Loves Somebody", "Cherish/Windy" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You". They then did "Baby love/You've Lost That Loving Feeling/Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" and while this was being sung images were being shown as he spoke of the Kennedy's, Martin Luther King and segregation and asked Kye and Monica how had they got through that. He then finished the 60's with "What The World Needs Now Is Love." Next was the 70's and he did "Mandy" as he does in Vegas and came up through the stage with the piano. He then did "WINE" and the piano was raised into the air and lowered slowly. Next "I Write The Songs" and everyone had glow sticks as these were given out section by section and we know they should not go on till this song but it was a sight seeing section by section being lit up. Must have been something looking from the stage. He went off came back with a short yellow jacket on for Copa. Kye and the girls looked fab. He stood on his platform again and instead of it being lowered it moved about 10 rows into the crowd. He did some moves but looked in pain to me. He went off and came back to do "It's A Miracle" with streamers. He then left the stage and the curtain came down around the stage. All of a sudden the curtain opened and Barry came out onto his platform and he sang "One Voice". He was in pain as you could see it in his face and we heard that he was taken out in the wheelchair and did not do the meet and greet. Not sure if this was true because you know what rumors are like. Barry at one point said I Miss You to the fans so I don't think these will be the last concerts even after MSG. He also at another point turned his back and lifted his jacket and wiggled his bum. He also asked for Demerol don't know what this is in the UK. I assume its a painkiller. Barry has still got IT as this was a
fabulous concert just hope he comes to the UK so that fans who have been
unable to see him for the last few years will get to experience what we
did on Saturday.
