2008 opened with Barry and company going over the road for a spell.
Visiting the outer reaches of the USA. Far flung places where the
fans hunger for the music (and dare I say it. . .passion) of a Manilow
show live and in person. Oh sure there have been a plethora of
DVDs to keep our little hearts a-flutter; and a CD or two. . or was it
three. Still there is nothing equal to the thrill of the man on stage
right in front of your very own eyes.
After a three month series of what Barry calls drop-in concerts in Columbus, OH; Ft. Lauderdale & Miami, FL; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles & San Jose, CA; Dallas, TX; and lets not forget the Raleigh & Atlanta shows cancelled by the fickle January snow-storm (rescheduled for March 27th & 29th by the way) Barry is back at the Hilton AT LAST. Margie was in the audience for the weekend of his 300th show. Can you believe it - 300 shows at The Las Vegas Hilton? |
