"A Little Traveling Music"
was being hummed worldwide as members of MM's packed suitcases. The
burning question of "what should I wear" had been at last
answered. Final decisions had been made on clothes for the parties
and dinners planned. All roads leading to Fort Lauderdale.
It had been a bumpy ride on the way
to the convention this year. Changes and more changes were made
to the itinerary. Some were good ~ like the addition of a
concert by the amazing Diane Schuur. Some were not so good ~ Harmony
was moved to Philadelphia's Forrest Theatre and would open in November
rather than Florida the weekend of the convention. (see the newsletter

Some of us weren't making the trek
to the sunny state at the southeastern tip of the U.S. However, we
were not left in the dark. Seven of Manilow's Modems members, Muriel,
