Louise Moy's Convention Moments to Remember
Barry & Louise		I didn't see a whole lot of hands up....I think people were not expecting "questions from the floor" and were not prepared.. We were kinda in shock on hearing about the hip surgery from Garry just moments earlier. Well, I raised my hand and Barry looked right at me, got off his directors' chair and walked over towards our table with his microphone. He stayed on the raised platform "stage area." I stood up and walked towards him. He put the mic down towards me and I said, in a whisper, "you want me to talk in here?" (duh...moment...) as I instinctively reached for the mic. The photo shows our fingers touching. He was waiting for the question. I said: " Garry just informed us that you were going to have hip surgery. Are you in much pain? " Barry replied, "You won't believe how much pain I have been in!" (I looked up at him with empathy) Barry continued, "I feel like I am 95 years old!"

Then the next question was from a fan ( I don't know her name) who told Barry she had been a fan for 25 years and  asked if could she get a kiss from him? He said, "Sure, come on up here." He told her to hop up onto the stage and he gave her a hug and a kiss.

Christine Dowden's Convention Highlights
		When Barry came on stage we were so close I sat in awe and when he looked at us when tracks from his new CD were played he looked so vulnerable like a small boy hoping for approval. Of course he got it and I am sure I saw his eyes fill up. He sure misses us all at the shows. I did ask him a question but he didn't know the answer. I think Garry told him at the end and he said, "Oh, of course."  But he didn't divulge the answer. Can't wait for the next convention next year.
